When Smart Sparks started in 2004 our aim was to provide a smarter way of helping clients with their electrical requirements. Our team has grown to more than 50 full time employees across all divisions:
Working with the other companies in the group, Smart Sparks Commercial can deliver the complete range of products and services required from large clients. With a systematic and innovative approach the company can deliver increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This unremitting professionalism and expertise has seen the Commercial team work on some the region’s most high profile projects.
Smart Sparks Residential provides high quality electrical services in homes throughout the Canterbury region. Ricky Winter, a highly-respected electrician with years of electrical and project management experience under his belt, oversees a carefully selected team. Together, they provide prompt and professional service and take pride in their work. Their passion is offering a service that exceeds expectations.
In 2008, after four years as an integrated part of Smart Sparks Electrical, the Servicing department evolved into a full-scale company. With an increased demand and a burgeoning reputation for excellent results, Smart Sparks Servicing can now dedicate greater resources to meet the intricate needs of their growing client base. Headed by Tim Malone, the team prides itself on a responsive, intuitive and inventive approach to system maintenance.
Smart Sparks in the Canterbury Rebuild
Smart Sparks was born in Christchurch and the owners are proud Cantabrians. The reconstruction of our hometown comes with a great responsibility. The company is honoured to be an important part of the rebuild process, and recognises that helping the city get back on its feet is a task requiring equal amounts passion, skill and good old-fashioned hard work.
After February 2011 we helped our clients relocate and repair their premises, so they could get back up and running as quickly as possible. We look forward to continuing with this work – and in ensuring the city can ultimately be better than it’s ever been.
